Recommended for parents who are 24-26 Weeks Pregnant
This class meets once a week for 9 weeks. Best suited for those who have the goal of avoiding the use of medications and interventions. While this is a holistically focused approach, medications for pain relief are also discussed alongside natural approaches to comfort and pain relief. This class teaches the birth process, strategies such as relaxation, massage, visualization, and other labor tools. This class uses an interactive learning approach that allows for consistent hands-on practice through the entire learning process. Informed Consent and decision-making skills, as well as self advocacy, will be discussed.

Please dress comfortably and bring a blanket and pillow to class. If you have a yoga mat you may also bring that along. All families are welcome to attend this class, regardless of the chosen birth location. All classes are taught in English.
