One-day Workshop held for 3 hours. This class is for those who would like to practice coping strategies and do hands-on practice. This workshop is a great class for families expecting their first baby who would like to have more hands-on practice. It is also for those families expecting their second baby (or more) and would like to do a refresher of skills.

This class does not cover traditional childbirth education topics such as pregnancy anatomy and physiology, stages of labor, birth and labor progression, medications and interventions, cesarean birth, postpartum, etc. If you would like to learn that information we recommend that you sign-up for either the Natural Childbirth Class (For Parents 34-36 Weeks); the Complete Childbirth Preparation Class (9 Weeks Long); or the Weekend Preparation for Childbirth Class.
Please dress comfortably and bring a blanket and pillow to class. If you have a yoga mat you may also bring that along. All families are welcome to attend this class, regardless of chosen birth location. All classes are taught in English.
